Honey Propolis Shampoo

clip_image004_2.jpgWe were at Tagaytay a few weekends ago and I was so happy to hear from our friend that the store at the Sports Center sold stuff by Ilog Maria!

It was a great excuse to go “shopping” for the weekend. (And you’d think there was no shopping place in Highlands, think again!)

Of course, I didn’t wait long to use it–I made sure that I bought it before we went to swim at Camp Highlands so I could use it when I showered after!

And the great part is that whatever the bottle promised, it delivered! Here’s what I got from the site:

Handmade in our Beefarm from natural ingredients: Honey for conditioning & hair growth. Propolis for scalp infections, dandruff, falling & greying hair. Natural oils like palm kernel oil, castor oil and coconut oil for gentle cleansing. Aromatherapy grade essential oils from herbs and fruits nourish and heal your scalp, while fighting skin ailments.

Place a small amount of our natural shampoo in your palm. Work into a rich lather in your hair. If no bubbles form, this is because our natural shampoo is reacting with and eliminating all the residues from commercial shampoos, hair oils, grime. Rinse out thoroughly. Then put a small amount of shampoo again, work into a rich lather. Keep lather on while bathing the rest of your body. Rinse well.

For the very best hair conditioning, nothing can beat two sliced kalamansi. Their pulp and skin have enough limonene oil to condition your hair naturally, perfectly. Rub the juice, pulp and skin oils into your hair and rinse very well. This will leave your hair soft and shining without the residue of commercial chemical hair conditioners.

It was sooooo good because you could actually feel your scalp cool! Not only that, it smelled really really great after! (Don’t expect your commercial shampoo scent–it’s a nice relaxing “aromatherapy” kind of scent…even S thought it smelled good!)

Natural stuff here!

Too bad the shop didn’t have the face scrub as I wanted to get a jar.

Hi Jen! I love this shampoo cause its so cool on the head. I realized, don’t have stock of that anymore. I’m linking you up ha. Thanks!

I love their soaps too. They have this “feminine” soap that, I feel, is better than any of those “washes” in the market. Also their anti-mosquito stuff is good πŸ™‚

    Love your site!

I didn’t get their shampoo when we went there ages ago… my sis-in-laws however didn’t like it very much (parang ang lagkit daw or something). Now I think the reason is their water over there in BFRV (kasi when we stay there, pag around 2nd or 3rd day, anlagkit na din ng hair ko if am using my shampoo, so I have to use theirs).

My sister loves the feminine soap however… tho weird daw kasi ang COOL sa va-j-j πŸ˜€

hi jody, ya, like it a lot! thanks for linking me up!

Kongkong622, thanks for stopping by. πŸ™‚ will have to try their fem soap. I make our own anti mosquito stuff as I get my own citronella essential oil (say mo?? hahahahaha!)

delish! alam mo, I think it may be because they put a lot? as in you put super little lang. these things are made of oils kasi, and yun yung nag papapbula ng konti. my sis used to work for a mfg company and said that pinoys really like to put a lot of shampoo, because the more the suds / bula, parang the cleaner. πŸ˜›

monix, they ship to manila! mura lang, check their site.

GUS, ano ka ba!!! kainis! πŸ™‚

badoodles—lemme know when you’ll be there next time, maybe we’ll meet up!
