I was reading the “photographing food” portion of The Encyclopedia of Photography: An A-To-Z Visual Directory, With an Inspirational Gallery of Finished Works by Adrian Davies. It said to focus on an interesting part of the dish while blurring out the other areas (his sample was a pasta dish, where he focused on the mint leaf and the prawns sticking out). Well, I really didn’t know which was the most interesting part of this dish (perhaps it was because I was hungry!) and focused on the dips.
Looks like I need more practice, huh?
